Nothin' to do but smile, smile, smile

It's been getting hot around here. We spent annother day lounging in the pool. Soon Alex and Isabella are going to be swimming laps. They can demonstrate olympic caliber splashing technique. ;-)

They are becoming restless. No longer content to sit on the floor playing with their toys, they like movement. Here is Alex riding around on her scooter thing-a-ma-jig. Standing is becoming frighteningly easy for the girls. Some day in the near future, they will be scooting around the furniture getting in heaps of trouble.

Swimming Pool

The girls enjoyed their first swimming pool adventure. They joined their aunts and cousins on a vacation from the all too busy life of being a little girl at home. Fully decked out in the finest swim suits, they splashed around in a pool with apparently no water in it. :-) Smiles were everywhere as was Alex's tongue. (One of her preferred expressions involves a tongue contortion where she tries to touch her chin)

That's it for now. Isabella has a new tooth, but it doesn't photograph very well. Now she can start biting me back!

A day in the Life

Life as a little twin girl is pretty rough. First you sleep in while snuggling with your sister. Then you play inside for a little bit and ensure all of your toys still taste the same. You type on the computer a little bit trying to solve the world's problems. And to end the day you have your servants push you around until you fall asleep. Rough.

Beach Visit

We visited the beach for the first time. No bikinis for the girls, but they enjoyed hanging out in the sunshine. We brought the girls to the water's edge but the cold sand caused quickly recoiling feet. Isabella braved the water and stood her ground as the waves splashed her. All in all I think they had a great time.

Here are some pics of Kellie with Alex, and Uncle Tom with Isabella.
